Katie began her professional career in education, completing a seven year career as a health and physical education teacher, finishing with years in the award winning Hillsborough School District. The dedication, organization and attention to detail necessary to succeed allowed for a seamless and successful transition in the world of real estate. Katie began her real estate career as an investor and has attended and participated in numerous seminars and continuing education. As an agent, Katie is a member of numerous professional networking groups, including BNI, The Austin Young Real Estate Professionals, and The Buzz, the largest business networking group in Austin. In her spare time, Katie can be found swing dancing, kayaking, performing with the Austin Civic Wind Ensemble, and spending time with her loving husband, Rob, their beautiful daughter, Lily, and their dog, Bobby.
